Dichloromethane is the least toxic of methane chloride, and its toxicity is only 0.11% of that of carbon tetrachloride. If dichloromethane is directly splashed into the eyes, it will cause pain and corrode. The steam of dichloromethane has an anesthetic effect. When a serious poisoning hazard occurs, it should be immediately removed from contact and moved to fresh air. Some poisoning symptoms will be relieved or disappeared without causing lasting damage.
